INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Datum professionals expertly install, configure, maintain and administer C2 systems and other servers, including: TBMCS, MAAP-TK, GCCS-J, JADOCS, VMware, Citrix, Windows XP/7/10, Solaris, Linux, Unix, and Windows Server 2008/2012/2013. We have a long history of demonstrated proficiency using network enterprise environments, office automation software, and hardware virtualization environments. Our team understands the importance of fully functional operating systems and networks and strives to ensure there is no down time while managing local and remote system backup connections and utilities. We routinely participate in Development Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) of C2 systems and new technologies as directed by our government customers.
Our team records and documents IT performance history and strictly complies with IT monitoring procedures. We routinely analyze IT shortfalls and deficiencies, and identify candidate improvements and/or technology insertions and provide performance analysis. In addition, Datum personnel analyze trends to predict future requirements or isolate problems/issues and development solutions for IT infrastructure improvement.
TELEPHONY, AND NETWORK ENGINEERING
The Datum team is savvy at implementing, configuring, and maintaining multiple web servers and developing geospatial web tool applications. Our team enforces National, DoD and Armed Forces security policies to protect networks from internal and external threats, including perimeter security systems (PSS), boundary security systems (BSS), and Information Server Environment (ISSE) guard as required. We perform maintenance on controlled networks/network segments, Sustainment Program office and Armed Forces requirements.
Datum’s IT & engineering professionals are skilled network engineers with one of a kind solutions that can enhance productivity while minimizing costs. We provide application development support, system operational support, and customer support for up to date applications and legacy applications, including; Facilities and Equipment Maintenance System (FEM), Enterprise Management Information System (EMIS), WR-Depot Maintenance & Accounting & Production System (DMAPS) Reporting Environment, Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Cognos Business Intelligence Reports Development (WR-DDSRI/DRIDB).
TESTING & EVALUATION-SYSTEMS
Datum professionals validate and verify that products and/or processes meet requirements and work in their intended operational environments. We have spent years creating risk analyses and creating, maintaining, and updating all applicable certification and accreditation packages in accordance with established timelines for large government contracts. Part of our teams responsibilities is to assist the higher-level Command and Control Information Systems Security Officer with conducting risk analyses, security tests, and security incident investigations. In addition, we routinely conduct system security evaluations, audits, and reviews to facilitate the gathering, analysis, and preservation of information and assets related to computer security incidents.
OPERATIONS & MAINTENANCE – CONFIGURATION & CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Datum’s goal is to minimize the impact on operations, ensuring fiscal compliance and completion of the contract with no delay. Our talented staff combines years of experience and education to easily determine the root cause of a problem or an opportunity, identify a course of action, implement the change, and measure the results. The Datum team is skilled in all aspects of configuration management in support of the operating system, including: document system/enterprise architectures and LAN topologies; performing document life cycle management for system and technical documentation from conception through development and delivery; identifying and configuring current software and hardware; developing and maintaining electronic records of software and hardware configurations for all supported locations; and, developing and Configuration Management Control Board.
ARCHITECTURE, ENGINEERING, INTEGRATION, & ANALYSIS
Datum supports the enhancement and upgrade of legacy applications by analyzing and developing change requirements, including: planning, coding, modifying and implementing new software components and changes to applications; utilizing application of configuration control systems; creating and updating application documentation; testing and integrating application changes; and troubleshooting the follow through with corrective actions.
Our seasoned professionals perform studies and analyses of process performance, data reliability, and trends and document recommendations for performance improvements. We provide guidance in the functionality of the systems and processes and provide recommendations concerning technical infrastructure, application software, and networks to ensure system components function together as designed.
SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT
Datum experts are savvy at planning, coding, modifying and implementing new software components and changes to applications. We efficiently identify, analyze, and document required changes to hardware, software and data transmission methods to meet regulatory requirements, business rules and change requests. Datum team members ensure customers are receiving deployments in a timely manner while continuing to maintain configuration control, documentation, testing and integration processes.
We ensure our applications are compliant with Defense Information Infrastructure (DII) Common Operating Environment (COE) DII-COE, Global Combat Support System Air Force(GCSS-AF) standards, Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC), Federal Desktop Core Configuration (FDCC) compatibility, and AF-mandated security requirements. Datum will develop, write, review and revise Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Communications-Computer System Requirement Documents (CSRDs) in conjunction with Program Manager (PM).
QUALITY ASSURANCE-INFORMATION ASSURANCE/CYBER SECURITY-PROGRAM
Datum IT specialists are focused on developing and maintaining code validation software to scan and identify security vulnerabilities within all developed source code and computer security systems that provide field level support for operation centers worldwide. Datum consistently delivers code with zero critical vulnerabilities. We develop risk assessment reports on any medium or low vulnerability with the results of software vulnerability scans thoroughly documented and available to government contractors.
The Datum team provides functional expertise and troubleshooting for systems development initiatives and transitions. We ensure changes are tested thoroughly to include user acceptance testing prior to deployment. Additionally we plan and participate in application tests and deployments, regression testing, and integrations with other systems while recommending improvements to processes that contribute to data processing security incidents and the associating reporting procedures.
CONTRACTS, AND ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT
Datum’s skilled acquisition and contracts team will guide customers through the acquisition process to secure contracts for products and services required to deliver integrated solutions. Our managers constantly keep abreast on new and emerging technologies within their programs while maintaining training and knowledge of program changes that can potentially be applied to the current instance of the DoD program. The Datum team makes recommendations to allowing each program to perform its function more effectively with new technology and/or versions of software, while keeping the program on schedule and completed on time.
TRAINING & SIMULATION
Datum IT professionals and Program Managers understand the importance of developing, writing and revising customized user training manuals, reference guides and documentation as needed to support technology applications. Our team training consists of Train-the-Trainer, over-the-shoulder guidance and informational briefings conducted in a classroom or meeting room setting.
Trainings include defining and documenting QA/QC processes and procedures to be employed at both the enterprise and installation level. Datum provides support and consultation on quality assurance processes ensuring detachment and installation data is maintained at the minimum of 80% adherence to the measuring standard and is detailed in each Quality Control/Assurance Management Plan.
In addition to training and simulations testing, Datum professionals provide technical expertise and support for VTC systems, including installation, upgrade, resolution of interoperability issues, and administration of hardware and software. Additionally, Datum will provide expertise, training and mentoring in AOC/OSC weapons system areas to include document development and review.
INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT
Datum’s technical team of SME’s have a successful history of managing and sustaining supply chains with the technical resources and processes to succeed and currently have a CMMI ML 3 certification. Datum ILS experts work in the functional areas of equipment and supplies, materiel management and disposition, tracking and movement of equipment and supplies, organizational account management, weapon system spares (initial and life-cycle) support, asset depreciation and reporting, cataloging, computing stock levels, mobility, allowance and authorization management, warranty management, financial management and reporting, inventory control point, supply point, contractor-provided weapon system support, aircraft, engine and missile maintenance, hazardous materiel management, communications security management, and mobile technology.
Datums experience with Systems Sustainment Support includes DR/PR analysis and reporting, developing software releases (including Technical/Functional Change Requests), DR/PR corrections, database maintenance updates, 24/7 Level III technical support and priority/emergency patch support. Additionally, Datum has and will migrate existing supply chain capability to ILS-S, develop a new interface to an external supply chain system or will terminate existing ILS-S capability to allow another system to assume that functionality.
COMMAND, CONTROL, COMMUNICATIONS
Datum professionals have more than 18 years of experience running command and control of maritime air, land and space. Our team consists of specialized AOC functional operators and technicians to augment and enhance forces and operations at the ACC, OSC, and provide extended services to the Combat Air Force (CAF) AOCs.
COMPUTERS-INTELLIGENCE
Datum IT professionals have an IAM LVL III certification and have demonstrated success and proficiency maintaining the security posture of operational-level C2 and associated systems, including, but not limited to: TBMCS, MAAP-TK, GCCS-J, JADOCS, VMware, ACAS, DISA STIG Viewer, HBSS, and Citrix. Additionally the Datum team has demonstrated expertise with the current AOC baseline security suite.
